Try It Again, Pursue!

Wow! Is all I can say as I give God all the praise and the glory.  2013 was an amazing year for me! Many of my goals were accomplished and long awaited dreams fulfilled. Things that the enemy thought would remain dormant and stagnant were miraculously manifested by God’s grace and significant ground was gained.  If I could pinpoint one single thing that has made 2013 such a tremendous success it would be the whisper of the Holy Spirit in my ear saying, “Try it again, pursue”. It has been this encouraging push in my back, along with my cooperation and obedience, that has led to many doors being opened, opportunities received, and goals achieved.

In past years things have not always been this way. Even though it was evident God was at work on my behalf, I must admit there were still seasons when the various things I tried in business and ministry were met with resistance, minimum results, and sometimes what appeared like absolute failure. It was as if I had hit a brick wall! However, I give God the praise for the courage not to give up, give in, or quit. I’m also grateful for the strength to hold on to God’s promises for my life, and the ability to muster up the faith to keep pressing on.

I said all that to say this, as you progress into 2014 I want to come along side you as an encouraging whisper saying, “Try it again, pursue”. I want to be the encouraging hand in your back that’s reassuring you that now is not the time to give up, give in, or throw in the towel. What God has promised you is just ahead. Don’t be afraid to face your fears, and at the leading of the Holy Spirit try what was attempted before once again. Keep pressing until you see your breakthrough. You can do it, and I believe in you. God did it for me and He can do it for you too. Blessings to you for 2014 and beyond!
